Health Insurance
Your basic health insurance is fully covered by Taglit - Birthright Israel: Aish HaTorah.
Taglit-Birthright Israel also requires that all trip participants be covered with an additional health insurance that is more comprehensive for pre-existing conditions.
If you do not have health insurance coverage (that covers pre-existing conditions) please be sure to purchase a plan as soon as you are confirmed on a trip. You can purchase an inexpensive plan by clicking on the AIG Travel Guard banner below (be sure to purchase this insurance within 15 days of your Aish confirmation which will ensure that pre-existing conditions are covered).
Travel Insurance
If you have health insurance it is essential that you also purchase travel insurance as soon as you are confirmed on a trip. This will ensure sure that any medical expenses, flight cancellation/interruption, baggage loss/damage, and much more will be covered. Your current health/homeowners/credit card insurance often does not cover the many potential issues that can occur on a trip. Be sure to protect yourself as these are issues that occur often. It is a small investment for big savings.
