Air Canada Flights

You can extend your Air Canada ticket for up to 90 days from your departure from the Canada. There are 2 extension options available:

a) Highly Recommended - You can extend your ticket in advance for a fee of $100 USD. Please complete the Request For Extension Form (doc) and email it directly to Varda-Terry Herzog at varda-terry.herzog@aircanada.ca. Please remember that our agent at Air Canada is stationed in Tel Aviv, Israel and is 7 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time. Terry's hours of operations are Sunday to Thursday 9am – 5pm (Israel time). Please allow for a minimum of 48 hours for a response to your email.

b) NOT Recommended – You can extend your ticket on the trip, subject to availability, at a cost of $100. Please note that at this point availability will be very limited if at all. You are therefore strongly encouraged to arrange your extension in advance as per option A above. Important Notes:
The Air Canada Agent will not be able to assist you with domestic travel or stopovers in other countries. All return flights must be direct from Tel Aviv, stopovers and connecting flights are not permitted on your Taglit-Birthright Israel ticket.
